Dolphins Basketball club of Lagos yesterday maintained their winning run at the Atlantic Conference of the Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League with 81-54 victory over Sunshine Queens of Akure. They had defeated Delta Force 76-57 on the opening day of the third stage of the league.
Yesterday’s victory ensured Dolphins maintained their winning streak along with arch rivals rivals First Bank also of Lagos.
After 101-50 spanking of Ogun Babes in the opening match, First Bank also defeated high flying MFM 62-51 yesterday to maintain their unbeaten run.

In other results, Oluyole Queens defeated Ogun Babes 66-58 while Delta Force defeated Police 67-59. Four teams each are expected to qualify in each of the two Conferences to make the Final Eight billed for Lagos at a latrr date.
