ASABA—The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State, has threatened to sanction any party member or members involved in the circulation of fake results of last Saturday’s state House of Assembly primaries, conducted in the 29 constituencies of the state.
State Chairman of the party, Chief Edwin Uzor, who addressed newsmen at the party secretariat in Asaba, warned against further circulation of such results, particularly in Sapele state constituency, saying that anybody apprehended would be prosecuted.
Speaking against the backdrop of some earlier circulated results of the state House of Assembly primaries of the party in the state in some national dailies and social media, Uzor expressed displeasure over the development and described same as total disregards for laid down rules.
