Former Governorship Aspirant and the immediate past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Adedayo Adeyeye, has ditched the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adeyeye, who contested and lost to Ekiti State Deputy Governor Prof. Kolapo Olusola, in the primary election for the upcoming governorship election slated for the July 14, announced his defection on Tuesday.
Adeyeye had earlier contested in 2015 against incumbent Ekiti Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, but lost out.
Adeyeye, who was also a former Minister of State for Works said he was joining the ruling party to support the current governorship flag bearer of the APC and to rescue the state from the PDP.
