The Enugu state high court restrained senator Ayogu Eze from parading himself as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 election.
The court also restrained the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from recognizing Eze as its candidate in the election.
The order followed an application by Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi on December 9 asking the court to stop Ayogu Eze from parading himself as governorship candidate of the PDP and the party from recognizing him as such.
After hearing the submissions of counsel to Ugwuanyi, Ogochukwu Onyekwuluje, Justice R.O Odugu granted the prayers of the plaintiff, which will subsist pending the determination of the motion on notice before the court.
