Kaduna State High Court has granted leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibraheem El-Zakzaky leave to travel abroad for medical tratment.
The Islamic cleric sought the leave of the court to go to India for medical treatment.
There were apprehensions in the Kaduna metropolis ahead of the hearing of the bail application of the IMN leader and his wife, Zeenat leading the police to tighten security early Monday morning.
According to reports, Ahmadu Bello Way was devoid of activities as El-Zakzaky is expected to appear in court.
Security agents had warned against any protests by anyone or group of persons on account of the Islamic cleric leader’s court appearance.
They also encouraged residents to go about their daily activities.
Federal Government had severally disobeyed courts order on the release of El-Zazaky on bail.
