A Nigerian in far away Dublin Scotland has been nominated as a possible winner of this year’s International IMPACT DUBLIN Literary Award.
The award is managed by Dublin City Libraries being the twentieth edition of the award which started in April 17,1995.
The award is worth hundred thousand Euros in money value. This is the world’s most valuable annual literary award for a single work of fiction published in the English Language.
At least Nigeria is not all about corruption and bad governance, rather there are geniuses yet to be discovered and explored in the country which boasts of the largest number of trained human capital in sub Saharan Africa.
The list includes Americanah by Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, three novels in translation from Brazil, France and Morocco and novels from Australia, Ireland, the UK, and the USA.
