Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has reportedly rejected a move to Chelsea, but is reportedly open to joining Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
The Belgian had been top priority for Antonio Conte as the Italy coach looks to bolster his midfield options ahead of taking over the Premier League next season.
The Giallorossi are demanding €46m for Nainggolan, according to The Sun, and despite his reluctance to leave cash-strapped Roma, the 28-year-old suggested that should an offer arise, he could join Mourinho’s revolution at Old Trafford.
“I will stay,” added the former Cagliari midfielder. “I’m happy in Rome, I don’t want to leave.”
Roma ace Miralem Pjanic is also on Conte’s radar, and with the Bosnian’s contract expiring in 2018, he could be tempted with a move to Stamford Bridge if his €38m release clause is met.
“I have two more years on my contract with Roma,” said the 26-year-old. “If an official offer comes in then we will see.
Paul Pogba could also be on his way to Chelsea, according to Get French Football News. The French international played under Conte at Juventus for two seasons, winning two Serie A titles.
