Real Madrid, the only team to win all six of its group stage matches, will face Schalke in the Round of 16. Real Madrid is looking to become the first team to win back-to-back Champions League titles since AC Milan won in 1989 and 1990.

Two-time defending Bundesliga champion Bayern Munich drew Shakhtar Donetsk. Bayern midfielder Philipp Lahm said the team will not overlook its Ukraine-based oppoenent.
“Donetsk are dangerous opposition, but nevertheless we have to reach the next round. The minimum goal for FC Bayern München always has to be the quarter-finals.”
Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho wished for A PSG pairing and got it; ditto Arsene Weneger who desired a Monaco match up and was equally lucky to have his wish.
