Cameron’s ‘fantastically corrupt’ statement refers to Buhari administration: IPOB

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has said that  the ruling All Progressives Congress is manipulating the truth over the statement credited to the British Prime Minister, Dave Cameron that “Nigeria is fantastically corrupt.”
IPOB said in a statement signed by its Spokespersons, Emma Mmezu and Dr Clifford Iroanya, that Cameron was referring to the present leadership of the country as his comments were in the present tenses.
The statement entitled “Nigeria: Fantastically Corrupt Leadership,” read in part,  “Apart from obviously failing in the knowledge, application, and deployment, the Buhari/APC presidency also lack knowledge of the rudiments of English Language. Dave Cameron said, Nigeria is fantastically corrupt. That is in present tense! Dave Cameron didn’t say, Nigeria was fantastically corrupt. The Federal Government shouldn’t have tried to imply that (Cameron referred to the past administration)…
“You have £1 million in the bank, your daughters attend expensive foreign schools in the UK, fly first Class …. And you think Dave Cameron does not know and does also, not know the difference in using the present tense, is instead of was?
“When you said you borrowed N27 million to buy presidential nomination forms, and your wife donates N137 million … And you think David Cameron does not know?
“When you sign a heavily padded 2016 budget, and submit same for National Assembly’s, NASS, approval … And you think David Cameron does not know? When you inherited $30 billion reserve in treasury, and you said that your country is broke … And you think David Cameron does not know?
“When the presidency allegedly claims it has recovered hundreds of billions of dollars from ‘looters’ … and you are globetrotting round the world to borrow $2 billion and $6 billion dollars … And you think that David Cameron does not know?
“When you deceptively said you will publicly declare your assets, and encourage your aides/cabinet to do same … you now decline to say that you will not declare your assets publicly … And you think David Cameron does not know? When you said there will be no office of the first lady, of the president … but there is office of the wife of the president … And you think David Cameron does not know?
“When donations of the launch of beauty book by office of the wife of the president, were secretly done … And you think that David Cameron does not know?… And you think David Cameron does not know?
“When you disregard rule of law. – Disregard court orders – Rig elections against the people’s will – Intimidate and harass opposition via Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and Department of State Services, DSS with deceitful corruption fight – Impede on freedom of press, and freedom of speech?
“When silent on ethnic cleansing of communities eg Agatu, Enugu, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Taraba, Rivers States among others; offer to negotiate with Boko Haram terrorists and give amnesty to the terrorists;  propose constitutional bills (grazing reserve bill), for herdsmen murderers to the detriment of other ethnicities (sic), tribes, and sections of Nigeria…;
“Order the massacre of unarmed peaceful demonstrators, agitating for self-determination, approve lopsided appointments favouring your kinsmen, with obvious and  complete exclusion of the South East … among other divisive policies?
“And you think David Cameron does not know…?  Buhari cannot fool the world. Unlike Nigeria, British people keep records.”
