The call for the sack of Super Eagles Coach has resurfaced just one match into his new contract with the NIgeria Football Federation.
And this time the coach has ignited the call himself by inviting a rookie to the national team and handing shirt.
For this offence, Keshi has been queried. ccording to reports, coach was queried by his employers the NFF for not only inviting a certain Gabriel Okechukwu from an unknown Abuja based club to the Super Eagles but for also handing him
Keshi did not only invited the non-leaguer the revered number 10 jersey, even he could not play him even just a minute.
This has generated outrage in the football community with the people asking for the sack of the Super Eagles Coach. Many say that Keshi has not changed from his old ways when players were invited and even used based non-footballing considerations.
And those calling for the coach’s sack has the backing a strong voice in Nigeria footballing community, as a former Director of Sports in Katsina State, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammad Kofar Soro has called on the NFF to immediately sack the coach in order to avoid disgrace of not qualifying for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.Soro made the call shortly after Nigeria’s Super Eagles laboured to a 2-0 win over lowly rated Chad in Kaduna.According to the former director, Coach Stephen Keshi does not have the ability to lead the country to Gabon 2017.
In his view, some invited players had no business being in the team and stressed the need to hire a foreign expert to handle the team for better results.
The former director said that if the NFF fail to sack coach Keshi, they may eventually risk in running the worst football administration in the country.
