President Muhammadu Buhari met with some leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja last night.
The meeting, which commenced started at about 9pm at at the First Lady’s Conference Room venue, was attended by Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara.
Also in attendance were Governors Rochas Okorocha of Imo State and Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara; Senate Leader Ali Ndume; APC National Chairman John Odegie-Oyegun; Agriculture Minister Audu Ogbeh; Science and Technology Minister Ogbonnaya Onu and former Information Minister Tony Momoh.
The meeting was also attended by the APC Deputy National Chairman (North) Shuaibu Lawali and APC Deputy National Chairman (South) Segun Oni.
It was not clear what the agenda of the meeting which details are yet to be known was, but followers of the activities of the party say it might not be un-connected how the party could provide a united front on the challenges facing the country, especially the festering issues of petrol scarcity and killings by Fulani herdsmen .
