Buhari and the choice of a VP

Major General M. Buhari is giving another shot at the presidential seat. I am not a fan of GMB neither am I an apostle of GEJ.
The President came to power riding on wings of emotions.Five years down the lane , the political balance sheet is viewed with tribal and religious prisms.
The Igbos believe that GEJ is the best thing that would happen to the whole South East since sliced bread. The energy that has propelled that notion has unconsciously affected factual sense of judgment as it affects 18th century developmental plans of the South- east Governors.
To the South- South; this is our chance! Apart from Akwa- Ibom state, no other governor has really demonstrated the ability to match received federal allocation with infrastructural development . Amaechi is the chief culprit.
For the North, anger spurred by leadership prodigality that was demonstrated by Shagari, Buhari , IBB, Abacha , Abdusalami etc is innocently transferred to the man of( from) Otuoke.
We have waited for GEJ to prove the oracles wrong but Bros is not in a hurry to change his political and leadership SIM card .
No man or woman will keep a driver who has bashed his or her car repeatedly even if they are from same village.
My advice to GMG
You need :
A Christian running mate from the South – west
An intellectual who is tested and trusted.
A man who believes that one’s character is the most potent instrument of evangelism not blind spiritual optimism and hypocritical recital of empty catechism.
A man who has engineered sustainable reforms in his previous positions as a leader.
A husband of one wife who has objective and incontrovertible sense of Judgment.
A man who relates with people not taking cognizance of their tribe , creed , class , color or shoe size.
A man with understanding of Nigeria myriad problems and corresponding feasible solutions that are in tandem with the dynamism of 21st century expectations.
A man of God who can not be pushed around to compromise the secularity of our nationhood.
A man who has worked with youth either as Pastor or a lecturer.
A man that can commands respect in both the Judiciary and legislature
A man who can help restore our education system.
A man with impeccable knowledge of global politics and funny trending antics of stomach infrastructure .
Such a man is known to some of us.
He will be a bridge builder, an indispensable flavour to your administration .
Mouthing Corruption without the assistance of an egg head who understands why corruption is Nigeria password won’t help you.
Nigeria will vote for you not only because of your antecedent but also the assurance that with good VP on your side , the mantra of Sharia, the perception that your temper heats objects faster than a brand new micro- wave would be tolerated.
Nigeria has changed. The temperament of 1983 can not achieve anything meaningful in 2015.
For these reasons you need such a man.
Emotions and sentiments would drag Nigeria backwards.
Common sense is all we need.
Let the purpose of the will of God be done.
