President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Colonel Hamidu Ali as his Chief of Staff.
The appointment was broached by Omojuwa.com in a post this afternoon, though there is no official announcement of the development yet.
Ali’s appointment was also reported by Sahara Reporters.
Ali, a retired Colonel, was born on January 15, 1955.
He was the Military Administrator of Kaduna State from August 1996 – August 1998.
He has one wife and 4 children.
In June 2006 Ali stated that the North would regain the Presidency in 2007.
Ali’s status was also immediately updated on Wikipedia, where he is now addressed as the chief of staff to president Buhari.
Rumours had all but given it to the immediate past governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, who is said to enjoy very chummy relationship with the President Buhari.
