Two fighter jets belonging to the Nigerian Air Force have crashed around Mashafa area of Mpape, Abuja.
Daramola said, ”I wish to confirm an air incident involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations. Thankfully no lives were lost. x
Although, no casualty has been reported as at the time of filing the report, however, the crash has caused a heavy traffic gridlock on Kubwa expressway.
Air Force spokesman Ibikunle Daramola confirmed the crash. He said there was no fatality.
“I wish confirm an air incident involving 2 Nigerian Air Force aircraft taking part in the rehearsals for the 58th Independence Day Celebrations,” he said.
“Thankfully, no lives were lost. Details will be communicated later.”
