New IBF titleholder in the middleweight division Jermain Taylor has reportedly put up his 39-acre estate in Little Rock, Arkansas up for sale.
The 36-year-old fighter, who won the IBF middleweight title from Sam Soliman in Mississippi recently, is also currently in the process of dealing with a legal matter that took place at the home, where he allegedly shot his cousin last month. Reports say that the home has an asking price of $1.2m.
According to TMZ Sports, Taylor was arrested back in August for shooting his cousin during a domestic dispute. At the time, Taylor claimed his cousin was an “intruder”.
His fans fear the legal matters at hand could affect his career.
Taylor (33-4-1, 20 KO) beat Soliman on scores of 116-111, 115-109, and 116-109, with BLH scoring it 116-108 for Taylor, who scored official knockdowns in rounds seven, eight, nine, and 11.
