Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has named Muhammad Ali as his greatest sporting hero and picked Lionel Messi over Cristiano Ronaldo in a short but insightful interview with beIN Sports (via the Mirror).
He also identifies Dennis Bergkamp as a player he knew would be a star from the first time he saw him and claims he turned down the role of England manager because he felt the job should go to an Englishman.
Outside of football, the Frenchman admitted he’d love to be Usain Bolt if he could be any other sportsman.
All fair answers, really!
