The spokes person of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the southeast, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, has dismissed as false rumours that the federal government plans to relocate some Boko Haram detainees to Anambra state .
Okechukwu in a statement on Sunday said that the rumour is unfounded and a blantant falsehood.
According to him, the contacts he made from both the Presidency and the Ministry of Internal Affairs indicated that the story was a falsehood.
He said the clarifications coming from the Nigeria Prison Service showed that most of the terror suspects are awaiting trials who must be tried in the state where they committed the crime.
He, therefore, appealed to party faithfuls to disregard the insinuation claiming it is the handy work of opposition and losers.
