A former Nigerian Head of State, General Muhammadu Buhari, has declared his intention to contest in the presidential election of 2015.
Buhari made the official declaration on Wednesday.
He said he would contest on the platform of the All Progressives Congress and promised to restore Nigeria’s honour if elected as President next year.
During a visit to the governor of Kwara State, Abdulfattah Ahmed, on Tuesday, General Buhari had insisted on continuing to contest for the position since there was no constitutional limit to how many times anyone could contest for political posts.
General Buhari had contested for the same position three times in the past.
