APC must not relax —Borishade

The Director General of the defunct ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s Campaign Organisation in the APC presidential primaries, Prof. Babalola Borishade, has cautioned leaders of the All Progressives Congress against complacency in the forthcoming general elections. He said this in a statement issued by the Atiku Media Office in Abuja, on Saturday. Aborishade urged leaders of the party not to lower their guards in the current efforts to unseat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in the 2015 general elections.
He said leaders of the opposition needed to work extra hard to bring about the much desired change that will usher in a purposeful political leadership in the country in February this year. The former Minister of Aviation noted that ruling parties in Africa were always desperate to retain power, regardless of performance. The former DG of the Atiku Campaign Organisation argued that if the PDP could commit injustice against its own members, nothing would stop them from attempting to subvert the will of the voters in the February general elections if not checked by the APC.
