A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Apapa Local Government area of Lagos State, Otunba Moshood Tijani, has called on the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to be careful of those who are hell bent on destroying his name.
Tijani, who spoke at an event to mark the just celebrated Eid-el-Kabir, held in Apapa, cautioned the former governor of Lagos State not to listen to political jobbers and deceit who taunt his name to seek political attention “hence go about with all sorts of lies capable of misleading you and destroying your good work.”
While noting that leadership anywhere in the world is earned and not imposed, the APC stalwart disclosed that he and Tinubu had come a long way in the struggle for the enthronement and sustenance of APC right from the days of Alliance for Democracy (AD).
Also speaking at the event, the National Legal Adviser of the APC, Dr. Muiz Banire, assured the gathering that he would communicate their complaints to the APC leadership, assuring that every of the complaints would be addressed.
Banire commended the organisers of the event, noting that such an event would continue to bring the people together.
