APC has averted a governorship primary as Governor Chibuike Amaechi has anointed Dakuku Peterside as the governorship candidate of APC.
The governor asked Senator Magnus Abe and Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru to step down for Dakuku.
The governor allocated the automatic Senatorial seat to Senator Abe.
It was further gathered that the governor at the meeting also announced the senatorial and House of Representatives seats.
