American R&B singer Alicia Keys has called on the Nigerian government not to relent in it efforts to release of the kidnapped schoolgirls from Government Secondary School, Chibok.
Keys, who expressed dismay that the girls have remained in captivity more than six moths after they were abducted by the Boko Haram Islamist group, wants the girls released by their captors.
“Putting the spotlight on these girls is very, very important to me and I thought that it is my job to help shine the light on what is going on and show people: this is still happening and we must not forget and it is going on for six months,” she said
