Police have arrested a man in connection with a murder in Luton 13 years ago.
Adebayo Ekun, 38, was arrested in Nigeria on Thursday February 12 and is awaiting extradition to the UK.
He had previously been circulated as wanted for the murder of 18-year-old Marcus Hall, who was beaten and stabbed to death in Luton on 21 March 2001.
Bedfordshire Police said Adebayo Ekun, 38, is in custody and awaiting extradition to the UK.
Several other men were arrested over the incident in 2002 and 2003, but Ekun evaded arrest. An appeal was made to find him on BBC’s Crimewatch last year.
