A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted the request of the Fedral Government to extend the detension of the RevolutionNow leader,Omoyole Sowore.
The Federal Government wanted the court to grantbit leave to hold the activist and former presidential candidate flr up to 90 days.
But the court on Thursday morning granted the Department of State Services, DSS the right to detain RevolutionNow leader, Omoyele Sowore for 45 days.

Sowore was picked up by the Federal Government last weekend ahead of his mobilization for last Monday’s nationwide demonstrations against perceived failures of the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government.
The government in picking him alleged that his plans were aimed at bringing down the Federal Government as constituted.
