Youths have been advised to use the social media for essential information dissemination rather than use it as a platform to castigate the leadership of those in authority.
This advice was given in Osogbo the Osun State capital, by a group of youths under the aegis of the Coalition of Christian Youth Groups in Nigeria.
The National President of the Group, Seyi Bamidele, who spoke to newsmen, said that the increasing unemployment issue among the youths is mainly responsible for the many vices that stain the image of the nation.
He said that rather than casting aspersions on the leaders and the church and making mockery of the nation, youths should imbibe the attitude of prayer to help solve the incessant problems of youth restiveness.
The group also used the occasion to call for thorough investigation into the collapse of the Synagogue Guest House building and stop criticizing the church or the leaders.
