President Muhammadu Buhari will host his first Presidential Media Chat tomorrow, Wednesday, December 30, 2015, a statement by his media aide, Femi Adesina said Tuesday.
According the presidential media aide, the chat will however be on ‘national issues’.
Suspected among the national issues for discussion include the lingering fuel scarcity, 2016 budget, ongoing quest to oust Boko Haram and the unrest surrounding the killings of Shi’ite Muslims by the Nigerian army.
“In the course of the programme, which will be broadcast live on the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), President Buhari will answer questions from a panel of journalists on a broad range of current national issues,” the statement noted.
“The Presidential Media Chat will begin at 1900 hours. Other television and radio stations in the country may hook-up to NTA and FRCN to relay the programme to their viewers and listeners,” it added.
