Nigerian-born teenage sensation Alex Iwobi is among the players in the list sent by Arsenal Football Club to the EFA for this year’s Champion’s League actions.

This is a week of deadlines in Europe. Monday and yesterday (Tuesday) saw the transfer deadlines, and now that teams are finalized, squad lists for the various competitions are starting to become due.
Arsenal submitted their squad list to UEFA for the Champions League today, and while there aren’t a lot of big surprises on it, there are quite a few young names to be found; Alex Iwobi, Hector Bellerin and a few other Arsenal youth are on something called “Player List B”, which, according to page 41 of UEFA’s CL rules, is a supplemental list for players who were
…born on or after 1 January 1994 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with UEFA. Players aged 16 may be registered on List B if they have been registered with the participating club for the previous two years without interruption.
