An explosion on a damaged oil pipe line belonging Eni has led to the death of over ten people.
The explosion occured as the damaged portion of the oil pipe line was being put in order.
The military spokesperson of the joint task force, Lieutenant Colonel Ado Isa confirmed the incident.
The explosion occured as repairs work were going on on a damaged portion of the pipe line as a result of the activities of pipe line vandals.
The Outfit said that the circumstances leading to the accident are not yet clear for it to make any statement. Promising that investigation into the matter is under way.
