Despite the rising cases of the virus infections, most Nigerians appear to defy the threat posed by the virus by disobeying government prescribed protocols.
Social distancing, wearing of masks and constant washing of hands are mainly observed in the breach, with many claiming that the dangers of the virus are often exaggerated by the government which officials see the pandemic as a major avenue of fraudulent enrichment.
