The strong woman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state, Hon. Mary Enwongulu, has appealed to eligible voters to protect their votes during the forthcoming 2015 general election towards ensuring that the jinx of bad leadership bedeviling the nation is broken.
Hon. Enwongulu who made the call yesterdsay in Lafia, shortly after picking her Expression of Interest (EoI) form at the state secretariat of the All Progressive Congress (APC) said the time had come for the electorate to be more active in deciding the outcome of electoral processes rather allowing a few elite to shortchange and subvert their wishes.
Enwongulu, a former minority leader in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) between 2007 and 2011, said that the call had become imperative in order to ensure free, fair and acceptable election in the country.
