Anti-corruption crusader and former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Dino Melaye has assured his supporters that he would defeat the incumbent senator representing Kogi West senatorial district of Kogi State in the National Assembly, Senator Smart Adeyemi in 2015 general elections.
Melaye who is aspiring for the Kogi West senatorial seat in 2015 on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gave the assurance in Abuja yesterday while speaking with newsmen. He said that the incumbent senator has failed woefully to represent the senatorial district in the last eight years saying that the senator has failed in all indices of assessing the performance of a senator.
He said, “Every legislator has three primary responsibilities, the first is the act of representation, making sure your people enjoy their fair share of the national cake, as I speak to you in eight years there is no single federal presence in the length and breadth of Kogi West senatorial district, not one.
