Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission Professor Attahiru Jega has failed to meet up with is self impose target of announcing the presidential election result within 48 hours of the poll.
That target elapsed Monday even as the collation of election results MIs becoming unexpectedly troublesome with allegations and counter allegations by the two leading parties, the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Peoples Congress.
APC alleges irregular ies in elections in PDP strongholds of South South and South East, while PDP has made similar allegations concerning elections in North West and North East.
PDP has accused Jega of colluding with the APC to win electoral advantage, while APC says that PDP deployed security forces to advance it electoral course.
